Blu Phi Back!
So there seems to be alot of talk about the new video from the Gamma Eta chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Inc. As a proud brother of the organization I'm all about self expression through any art form. However, some people feel like this isn't a direct reflection of the positive work the brothers in the organization do for our community. I believe the purpose of the video is to promote a party, not a "Feed the Needy" program. Lol. What the bro's in the video are depicting is no different than what I see at Greek cookouts or party related functions across the nation. Ultimately there needs to be a balance though, for every 1 video like this. There needs to be 10 more that promotes brotherhood, scholarship, and serivce! P.S. Blu Phi never left!
PLEASE DIE ALREADY!
I hate everything about the picture above. However, you'll see tons of men dressed this way come fall thinking they're really fashion forward. Sometimes in fashion you have trends and fads that seem to go on longer than they deserve. Men's fashion is the worst simply because there aren't many options to choose from. When a new option is avaliable most guys wait around until it is accepted by the masses. However, by then the style is in decline to guys who follow fashion regularly. Which leaves the average joe feeling like he's on to something new when he actually is adopting a trend in it's declined phase. Here's some trends that I hope won't find there way into mens wardrobes this season. Click "Read More" for the full list!

Ralph Seagrams "The Stylist"
Once upon a time all Ralph Seagrams knew was fashion! No music, no art, just clothes! Over the years I've styled many people, models, and musicians. I've meet some amazing people along the way. Because my attention is divided in so many areas, I don't focus on styling as much as I would like. However, the desire to create through wardrobe never dies. This was one of my favorite shoots to date. It was last minute and very organic! Roy Cox was the photographer & Jennifer Quinn did the makeup!
Air Force 1 Foamposites!
On a train ride home from D.C. I discussed the potential of Air Force 1's coming back into style with my Danny Boy "L.A." As a certifide fashion forecaster I understand that all things will at some point return. The only questions are when and how! Some things return exactly the same way they left (snap back hats) others need a boost of freshness. Air Force 1's has just recieved the biggest refresh button ever. They incorporated the current foamposite trend into the old shoe. Foamposites in the streets of Baltimore are refered to as "Dope Boys". I will officially title these "Dope 1's".
Stacey Barthe -Comfy Little Coffin
Stacey Barthe is and will always be one of my favorite humans to ever hold a pen! She just released her new mixtape "Sincerely Yours"! I love the project and one of my favorites is "Comfy Little Coffin". Enjoy!

Life's A Beach!
Summer time in the O.C. is a beautiful thing. People don't give the Eastern Shore the credit it deserves. Maybe it's because my generation prefers something more fast pace. However, I'm all about the country time lemonade living especially when it's with the upper class. Bethany Beach is like the Hamptons in Maryland and I'm thankful that I got to experience it! Louis Vuitton Spring 2012
It's been very difficult for me to find collections this season that will inspire me when I go shopping. Not that I can afford luxury brands (I splurge here and there) however, I use the concepts and trends to help me when I'm bargain shopping. Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 collection actually gave me some really great ideas for fall. I love the combo of red and royal blue with khaki touches. The navy and brown combo really worked as well. The heavy checker is a update from the plaid everyone was wearing last fall. The jackets look sporty but they have luxurious edge to them. All in all the collection gets 3 thumbs ups (Oop I meant 2)! Ralphie Universe!
What are Ralphies? Not your mother's figurines! These limited edition statuettes (what I like to call them) are hand made by Ralph Seagrams! Each one was created with a different fallacy in mind. They come from special places and live in a very unique world. These were not meant to be duplicated, so there's only one of each. New Ralphies will be coming soon! To see the rest of the collection click "READ MORE". For pricing information contact www.RalphSeagrams@hotmail.com

Top 10 Hip Hop Fashioneers
Throughout the history of hip hop fashion has played a major role in reflecting the artist personality, life experiences, and ideals. Sometimes clothing in hip hop isn't reflective of who the person is but moreso who the person wants to become. Hip hop between the 90's and 00's was possibly the most inflential art form. Designers such as Tommy Hilfiger and Missioni looked to hip hop for a fresh approach. While artist like Lil Kim and Kanye West were making Europian labels household names in the hood. However all of hip hops fashion moments weren't so high end, some of the most powerful moments were low brow. Click "Read More" to see the full list of artist who put a look on the sound of hip hop!
#10 Nas - As an explosion happens in the middle of the street a man walks through with the smallest leather pants and jacket set (Hate Me Now video) since Eddie Murphy. He has on no shirt and his boxers are fully exposed. It's Nas! White fur coats and Fila sweat suits are a part of his legacy. The hot pink suit in the "Street Dreams" video was borderline revolutionary. I'm pretty sure if I asked my boyz when would be an appropriate time to wear a pink suit, they would say never. However, Im pretty sure they never seen this video cause the desert is a perfect place!
